Xiarch offers  training for CHFI certification. The Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (C|HFI) is a professional certification provided by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council.) and focusing on network security investigations.

HISTORY:

The certification was developed by Jay Bavisi and Haja Mohideen, founders of the EC-Council with the assistance of an advisory board which included Erik Laykin. In recent years, the certification has become a global standard for many successful IT companies.

The Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator certification helps the professionals in detecting hacking attacks and conduct audits to prevent future attacks.

Examination

The CHFI certification is awarded after successfully passing the exam EC0 312-49 administered by the EC-Council after either self-study or having attended training at an Accredited Training Center (ATC).

Members holding the CHFI designation are required to re-certify under the program every three years to retain their certification.

The training package include the official EC-Council curriculum which includes the official EC-Council Computer Hacking Forensic Investigatorl Textbook Volumes 1 & 2, an accompanying Lab Manual, a HELIX bootable CD, CHFI Encase Academic Edition CD, and Security Auditor bootable CD and two lab CD’s containing all the latest tools.
