Once the bug is completely executed it will display a message that is \u201cdriver is corrupted and need to repair\u201d.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">The user quickly reboots the system and runs the chkdsk command to fix the corruption. However, Microsoft said that the driver is not corrupted and chkdsk will fix this issue. But according to the investigation, the chkdsk was unable to resolve the issue and Windows revokes for the reboot.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How Microsoft Fixed this Bug?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">This bug was reported and would be fixed in the security patch that was delivered by Microsoft in February. In case the update is not able to resolve the issue, the OSR also released an unofficial patch that will block the path in Windows, and Firefox 85.0.1 also added a check to revoke the path from execution.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"997\" height=\"515\" src=\"https:\/\/xiarch.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/windows-fixed-ntfs-bug-image-2.jpg\" alt=\"Microsoft Resolved Windows 10 Drive Corruption Bug \u2013 Read this to know!\" class=\"wp-image-1178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/xiarch.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/windows-fixed-ntfs-bug-image-2.jpg 997w, https:\/\/xiarch.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/windows-fixed-ntfs-bug-image-2-300x155.jpg 300w, https:\/\/xiarch.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/windows-fixed-ntfs-bug-image-2-768x397.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 997px) 100vw, 997px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Summering Up<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">In this update, Microsoft release the Windows 10 Insider build 21322 and also includes an undocumented that fix the problem and remove the path from the execution\/<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">Once the update is installed, you may see that the path <a href=\"$bitmap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">c:\\:$i30:$bitmap<\/a> has become invalid and none of the NTFS drivers is corrupted in the future.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">Whereas this entire update was only for Windows 10 Insider \u201cDev\u201d channel and it does not resolve the user&#8217;s problem who are using Windows 10 21H1 \u201cBeta\u201d preview.
