This week the United States government sanctioned twenty-eight cryptocurrency addresses that were illegally associated and linked with Russian Cyberattacks or caused election interference.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the United States government President Joe Bidden also introduced these sanctions in an executive order and announced that the Russian SVR and their hacking points are commonly referred to as APT29, The Dukers, or the Cozy Bear that were working behind the SolarWinds Supply Chain attack.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government also said that these types of cyberattacks and the election interference misleading campaigns were conducted by Russia\u2019s Federal Security Service (FSB) and Russia\u2019s Main Intelligence Directorate who were managed and helped by these mentions Russian organizations.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
United States Treasury Department also stated that another Pakistani organization named Second Eye Solution also assists the fake profiles over the Internet Research Agency by executing the attack or evade US sanctions.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which Type of Cryptocurrency are Included?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These activities are handled by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control that identified 28 different cryptocurrency addresses that were connected with these attacks. These identified addresses include Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Etherium, Verge, Dash, Litecoin, and Zcash addresses are described below;<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although, the government also sanctioned the IRA in 2018 for transiting the fake information and leading the conspiracy theories that influence the United States 2016 presidential elections. The payment of these services is done by the SES which is about 2.5 million dollars in cryptocurrency between 2013 to 2021.
