Apple Started Updating Security Patch From Other OS Updates!

Apple is going to update its methods while delivering the security patch to its devices executing on iOS and iPad operating systems. As per the code identified in iOS 14.5, Apple is going to reportedly work on another method that fixed the security patches only just like other operating systems do.

The changes were first identified by a website, whereas Google releases monthly security patches that completely different from the OS-related updates, therefore the iOS is now using the traditional security updating method and upgrade the latest version of OS.

Now, Apple rolled out the iOS 14.4.1 this month just to fixed the security issue present in Webkit that authorize the attackers to execute the arbitrary code on the devices and run the malicious web content.

This is also covered in a new setting called Install Security Updates that added to the software update and this time Apple gives the authority to the users while installing the entire iOS update or they have the choice to install the security update respectively.

While for the users who are running the older version of macOS Mojave, Apple offers standalone packs, which permits them to update the security patches and fixed the bugs while installing the latest version of macOS available.

Apple iOS 14.5 is still executing in beta more and it is still not known that how his feature of updates is executed on the code of references, it may be seen that multiple users may download the security update and may delete it before applying another iOS update.

However, by separating the updates from this feature, the development may be issued the out-of-band for emergency fixes for the devices that are not running the latest version of iOS and iPad.

Whereas iOS 14.5 is already updating itself and it has big privacy and security-focused update that company is planning to release soon. This update will block all the fraud websites which run on its proxy servers and make the user security and privacy more secured and prevent leaking of IP addresses to Google.

In iOS 14.5, the user has to verify the application permissions after installing the apps, this will control the unauthorized access taken by the malicious applications and also added a new framework know as App Tracking Transparency.

Apple is working while releasing the full version of iOS 14.5. Once the version is released and it works accordingly then it will resolve the user’s security issues and maintain the user privacy.
