According to the experts, a newly discovered malware has founded that spread through WhatsApp messages to other users in form of contacts to expand and work as an awareness campaign.
Lukas Stefako said that this malware is spreading through WhatsApp automatically by simply replying to the received message that was sent through the notification in the form of a link.
This malicious link is of fake Huawei Mobile app that redirects the user to the website with is looks like the Google Play Store website.

As it is executed into the users’ system, it automatically grants notification access, which carried out the wormable attack. It also exploits WhatsApp’s quick reply feature that was used to reply to the received messages.
While requesting the permissions to read the notifications the application also steals the background process data and withdraws over other applications, which symbolizes that it can overlap the other application that was executing in the background.
According to the experts this malware work to spread the adware scam. The process behind this campaign was to find the way that initially set and infected the victim’s environment. It is also noted that the malware can potentially expand from few devices and can infect all the devices connected.
SMS, emails, chat groups, and social media are the easiest way to infect the victim’s network.
It is also very clear that if the development that was used to stick to the trusted sources and download third-party applications, Once these applications are verified can infect the environment, these applications were built a genuine developer and infect the application before the users permit installation.
Another fact is that the banks that use trusted sites are also associated with WhatsApp contacts that cause the infection to their system also.
