Joker’s Stash, the most significant carding forum known for buying and selling stolen card data, announced today that it was shutting down within a month.

The news is leaked today by the site admin, who posted a message on several forums where the sites advertised its services. Joker’s Stash is the leading site and making hundreds of millions of US dollars but suddenly what happened to it?

Why does the administrator announce to shut the services? Did the administrator catch by law enforcement agencies? What is going on? No one knows about it!

Why Joker’s is Stash Admin Shutting Down?

According to the experts the site admin had been contracted with Covid-19 and the admin was admitted into the hospital for a week which affected the site forums, inventory, and other operations.

Whereas experts also say that the site is affected by the raid conducted by the FBI & Interpol in December 2020. In that raid, the Cyber agencies sized four Intel firms that include Digital Shadows, Intel 471, Gemini Advisory, and Kela was seized temporally.

Officials from the FBI and Interpol seized multiple servers used by Joker’s Stash that affected its services. Whereas the site administrator said that the December raid by law enforcement had impacted limited sites, as its domains were only used to reroute the customers worked from the landing page to its original marketplace and the admin also says that the authorities didn’t seize any sites that contain card or user data respectively.

In 2020, there are many breaches that included BIGBADABOOM-III that compromised Wawa, BLAZINGSUN which compromised Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, and NIRVANA that includes Fine Burgers & French Bakery Cafe).

But this entire action will cost the affected site’s reputations and the customers of the site got panic and were aware that the Joker’s Stash is now under the eye of law enforcement agencies.

What did Joker’s Stash Admin say?

Before announcing the retirement, Joker’s Stash was the most profitable cybercrime sites. The sum is estimated at about millions of dollars in profits and the money directly goes to the vendor’s pocket.

The Joker’s Stash administrator didn’t express anything in detail about why to shut down the site, but experts said that the administrator knows the possibility that the site is under the law enforcement agencies view, and before the agencies take down the site the administrator announces the retirement.

According to the experts the site has around 35 million card records and over 8 million records are not present. The administrator also says that the site is going to shut permanently and we will never open it again.

The admin also clears that there is no future possibility related to reopening the site and warned the users to not trust any importers related to it. The site admin also clear that they will be going to wipe all the information and delete all the servers related to the site.

The administrator also says to the customer we will leave the site open for 30 days so that you can spend the account balance and you will get the payouts soon.

Joker’s Stash is been activated from 7 October 2014 and going to shut down on 15 February 2021.
