Chrome is Rolling Out a New Feature that Automatically Fixes Breached Passwords!

Google is introducing a new Chrome on Android aspects to help users change their passwords with a single tap in data breaches.

As we know that chrome already helped us to check whether our credentials were negotiated and this ultimate new automated password change feature, will also permit you to change them automatically.

With this automated feature, Google Assistant will display a “Change Password” button while checking for stolen passwords on supported apps and sites and the button will instruct chrome to navigate the website and follow the whole password change process on its own.

One can also have a choice to follow the whole process manually at any point throughout the credentials change process.

Patrick Nepper – Google Chrome Senior Product Manager said that “Powered by Duplex Web, Assistant take over the exhausting function of web browsing such as scrolling, clicking, filling forms and permits you to focus on what’s crucial to you.”

 “From now we are increase these effectiveness even further when Chrome let’s you know that your credentials have been leaked online you can quickly create a strong password for some sites and apps.”

Duplex on the Web was first introduced in 2019 to permit Google Assistant to help the users to complete different web functions easier. Such as ordering a meal, flights booking, buying an item, and now automatically changing the negotiate password.

Introducing the devices with password sync enabled

Nepper recently added that “Automated password changes are introducing moderately in Chrome on Android, to users who already sync with their credentials.”

“It’s already introduce in the U.S. and will soon available on more sites in other countries too in the upcoming months.”

Today Google also mentioned that Chrome for Android will also get some enhancements. Some of them are mentioned below:

  • It became easy to import passwords from other password managers with a new tool.
  • Wide integrations with Chrome and Android to smoothly fill your credentials across sites and apps, no matter whether you are using desktop or mobile.
  • Password Alerts that automatically warn you of saved credentials that have been negotiating via a third-party breach.

Mr. Sameer Samat, Google’s VP of product management, said at this year Google Input/Output yearly developer conference that the Android operating system powers more than 3 billion devices.

It does not include the devices using third-party stores like Amazon Fire or smartphones and tablets of Chinese Android-based.
