WordPress Disabled the Google FLoC Automatically on Website!

On 18th April, WordPress announced that they were planning while treating Google’s new FloC technology as the security concerns and planning to block it by default on their sites.

However, multiple browsers are stated to block the third-party browser cookies that were used by the advertisers for internet-based advertising. After the WordPress announcement, Google also introduced the new advertisement tracking technology named Federated Learning of Cohorts or also known as FloC. It also uses by web browsers to anonymously place the user’s interest while clinking on unwanted advertisement based on their search history.

Whereas Google started testing their new feature FloC this month by executing in Google Chrome, the experts say this new tool just overlaps the one privacy risk with another one.

The experts also said there is a new way to examine your profiling that was used by the other third-party trackers while boiling down the recent browsing activity into the behavioral label and then it starts sharing the details with other websites and advertisers.

The Technology may revoke the privacy risks and other third-party cookies, they will also create a new one in the entire process. Some others are also exacerbated multiple worst non-privacy problems in the behavioral ads that deal with discrimination and predatory targeting. Meanwhile, the other privacy browser and the other search engine browsers that deal with Brave Browser, DuckDuckGo, and the Viavaldo all are removed from FloC from the application that was created or blocked by it.
