The data that Intel was going to publish with the US securities and exchange commission was leaked. Intel was planning to publish the file with the United States government after the stock market was closed on Thursday.

But unfortunately, the data was leaked from a corporate site told by an Intel spokesperson.

How Earnings Statement Distributed Before Time?

As this incident was reported and after the proper investigations the company has confirmed that the data were stolen and shared with someone outside the company. Intel is going to publish its quarterly earnings report before the market closure on Thursday.

Many experts say that this action is taken to prevent those who steal the info-graphic information and gives an unfair advantage to the marker by leaking it.

How did this happen?

According to Intel’s Chief Financial Officer George Davis, the info-graphic was accessed and extracted from Intel’s corporate PR newsroom website. This info-graphic contains the information the includes Q4 & FY 2020 earnings statement is now published on Intel’s official site.

The CFO also told us that as we get the information our info-graphic was leaked we took an immediate step and put out it on our official site.

Whereas Intel CEO said that we are working to increase our expectations for the quarter, and we will try to cap off our fifth consecutive record.

Intel was impacted in August by another data leak, when their developer and reverse engineer names ad Tillie Kottmann was leaked around 20 GB of data that contains Intel confidential documents, after getting them from a malicious source who illegally attacks Intel servers to steal the data.

Intel spokesperson also said that the information that comes from Intel Resource and design center, which hold the information that was used by our partners, customers, and other external parties who are registered for access.

Judgment

The member’s Ukrainian nationals Artem Viacheslavovich Radchenko and Oleksandr Vitalyevich Ieremenko was founded involved in the incident of securities fraud and charged a penalty. They are illegally stealing the data and earn around $30 million by selling the data info that they have.

They are also charged for hacking the database and Analysis EDGAR the system of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to steal the earnings data that includes the information of publicly traded companies.

Experts also say that this is not the first time when Intel is facing a data leak. The hackers had breached newswires, company newsrooms, and government organizations to get the company’s financial data and announced it before it gets published.
